生态农业可持续发展是我国重大发展战略之一，也是推动我国社会主义生态文明创建的关键环节。习近平总书记强调,山水林田湖草是生命共同体,要协调平衡、总体施策、多措并存，整体性、全区域、整个过程推进社会主义生态文明创建。农村的发展离不开山水林田湖草,生态文明建设离不开生态农业的建立,因此，习近平总书记指出，现代生态农业的发展方向是坚持不懈地走高效生态道路。同时，联合国表明，人类的可持续发展离不开“高效的生态方式”。

The development of rural areas is inseparable from mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes and grass, and the construction of ecological civilization is inseparable from the establishment of ecological agriculture. Therefore, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the development direction of modern ecological agri- culture is to persistently take the road of high efficiency and ecology. At the same time, the United Nations stated that the sustainable development of mankind is inseparable from "efficient ecological methods".
