Objective To explore the research status, hotspot and trend of stress injury related research in China, and to provide reference for further research in this field. Methods The literatures on stress injury research from 2000 to 2020 were retrieved from CNKI database, and the keywords, authors and institutions were analyzed and discussed by using Citespace5.7R4 software. Results A total of 5,921 valid literatures were collected, and the number of published papers showed an increasing trend.Pressure sores, nursing care, pressureinjury, prevention, risk factors and so on are the hot key words of stress injury research. The cooperation density among authors is small and the cooperation relationship is shallow. In terms of spatial distribution, research institutions are mainly concentrated in some research institutions in southeast, central and southwest regions, and the cooperation is relatively scattered. The continuous refinement of the related contents of pressureinjury enriches the research contents and topics, and provides more research directions, which is worthy of further exploration by researchers and research institutions. Conclusion Stress injury has always been one of the important research directions of medical researchers at home and abroad. With the promulgation of the new pressureinjury guidelines, the prevention and treatment of pressureinjury have been further refined, which provides a broader research topic for the further study of pressureinjury.
