Abstract

Objective: To explore the clinical effects of using high-quality nursing care in elderly patients with falls, bedsores, and mental health.
Methods: The study started in May 2019 and ended in May 2020. During the study, 88 elderly patients who were treated in our hospital were selected as the main analysis objects. In order to clarify the effect of high-quality care, this study uses a control method, so the patients are divided into two groups, named the control group and the observation group. There are 44 patients in each group. The grouping is completed according to the random number table method. All patients received clinical nursing after admission, but the nursing methods were different. Patients in the control group received conventional nursing methods, and patients in the observation group received high-quality nursing. Use different nursing methods to observe and analyze the clinical condition of the patient while nursing, and record the data generated during the nursing, mainly including: the incidence of falls, the incidence of bedsores, and the level of mental health before and after nursing, etc., and record the two groups at the same time Compare the data afterwards.
Results: According to data analysis, the incidence of falls and bedsores in the observation group were 2.27% (1/44) and 4.55% (2/44), respectively, compared with 15.91% (7/44) and 18.18% in the control group. (8/44) is low, compared with significant difference, statistically significant (P<0.05). The SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were (23.37±0.52) points and (20.61±1.67) points respectively. Compared with the control group (45.08±1.81) points and (39.85±2.02) points, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) ).
