Objective: To explore the management of hospitalized patients with tumor and accompanying personnel during the epidemic of the novel coronavirus pneumonia ( COVID-19) so as to avoid the spread of 2019-nCoV in the hospital. Methods: Use the specific measures according to the infection of the three elements, “source of infection, route of transmission and vulnerable population”, establish management strategies for strengthening the training of medical staff, strengthening the environmental disinfection of oncological ward, managing inpatients with tumor and accompanying personnel. Results: Owing to the strict screening of the admission of inpatients and accompanying personnel, management of inpatients and accompanying personnel, scientific and effective protection of medical staff and strict disinfection of the ward environment, ensure medical safety during the period of prevention and control of COVID-19, no inpatients or medical staff had infection of COVID-19. Conclusion s: The management strategies of inpatients with tumor and accompanying personnel can provide reference for development of epidemic prevention strategies in other hospital wards.
