跨文化传播视域下黑龙江“三皮”非遗技艺术语英译研究

摘要

黑龙江“三皮”非遗技艺术语英译质量直接关系到该文化形态的国际传播效果。从跨文化传播视角出发，分析术语在英译过程中面临的认知缺位与文化距离困境，提出了“归化与异化相结合”的策略，并在此基础上提炼出三种具体翻译方法与技巧组合，意译辅以文化显化、直译辅以技术释译、音译辅以概念释义。“三皮”非遗技艺术语的英译应因类而异、因词而异，以传播效果为最终取舍标准，减少文化折扣的发生，推动“三皮”文化在国际语境中的有效传播。

Abstract

The quality of English translation of the technical terms for the “Three-Skin” (fish-skin, animal-hide, and birch-bark) intangible cultural heritage craftsmanship in Heilongjiang affects its international dissemination. From the perspective of cross-cultural communication, the cognitive gaps and cultural distances encountered during the translation are analyzed. A strategy integrating domestication and foreignization is proposed, and three combinations of translation methods and techniques are summarized. A balance should be sought between cultural authenticity and audience comprehensibility, so as to reduce the occurrence of cultural discount and facilitate the effective dissemination.
