Postoperative nursing experience of surgical treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia: A case report
1例前列腺增生手术治疗的术后护理体会

摘要

目的 分析1例前列腺增生手术治疗的术后护理效果。方法 选取2026年1月29日入院、2026年2月8日出院的1例89岁高龄前列腺增生合并多种基础疾病的患者为研究对象，针对患者病情特点制定个性化护理方案，分析护理结果。结果 经系统化、针对性的术后护理干预，患者术后未出现严重并发症，留置尿管通畅，生命体征平稳，基础疾病指标控制良好，于术后第2天顺利出院，出院时患者及家属已掌握留置尿管家庭护理及自我健康管理方法。结论 针对高龄高危前列腺增生手术患者，结合其自身特点，对患者开展精准化、全方位术后护理，效果显著，值得推广。

Abstract

Objective To analyze the postoperative nursing effect of surgical treatment for prostate hyperplasia in one case.
Methods One 89 year old patient with benign prostatic hyperplasia and multiple underlying diseases who was admitted on January 29, 2026 and discharged on February 8, 2026 was selected as the research object. A personalized nursing plan was developed based on the characteristics of the patient's condition. By sorting out nursing problems, clarifying nursing goals, implementing comprehensive nursing measures such as disease monitoring, pipeline nursing, underlying disease control, diet and rehabilitation guidance, etc., the clinical effects of nursing interventions were observed.
Results Through systematic and targeted postoperative nursing interventions, the patient did not experience serious complications after surgery. The indwelling catheter was unobstructed, vital signs were stable, and basic disease indicators were well controlled. The patient was discharged smoothly on the second day after surgery. At the time of discharge, the patient and their family members had mastered the methods of home care and self health management for indwelling catheters.
Conclusion   For elderly high-risk patients with prostate hyperplasia, targeted, comprehensive postoperative care can reduce complications, ensure efficacy, accelerate recovery, and improve self-care ability and prognosis, with important clinical significance.
