Comparison of clinical efficacy between PRP and sodium hyaluronate injection for intra-articular injection in the treatment of elderly degenerative knee osteoarthritis
PRP与玻璃酸钠注射液关节腔内注射治疗老年退变性膝骨关节炎的临床疗效对比

摘要

目的 对比富血小板血浆（PRP）与玻璃酸钠注射液关节腔内注射治疗老年退变性膝骨关节炎（KOA）的临床疗效。方法 选取2024年12月-2025年12月收治的老年退变性KOA患者120例，分两组，各60例。对照组采取玻璃酸钠注射液治疗方案，实验组采用PRP注射治疗方案。对比两组临床疗效、疼痛缓解程度、关节功能改善情况以及生活质量。结果 实验组总有效率明显高于对照组；实验组治疗后VAS疼痛评分低于对照组，膝关节KSS评分及生活质量评分高于对照组（P＜0.05）。结论 关节腔内注射PRP与玻璃酸钠均可改善老年KOA患者疼痛与关节功能，PRP在中长期疗效、炎症控制及功能恢复上更具优势，安全性良好，更适合作为老年退变性膝骨关节炎的优选方案。

Abstract

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of intra-articular injection of platelet rich plasma (PRP) and sodium hyaluronate injection in the treatment of elderly degenerative knee osteoarthritis (KOA).
Methods 120 elderly patients with degenerative KOA admitted from December 2024 to December 2025 were selected and divided into two groups, with 60 patients in each group. The control group was treated with sodium hyaluronate injection, while the experimental group was treated with PRP injection. Compare the clinical efficacy, pain relief, joint function improvement, and quality of life between two groups.
Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group; After treatment, the VAS pain score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, and the knee joint KSS score and quality of life score were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).
Conclusion   Both intra-articular injection of PRP and sodium hyaluronate can improve pain and joint function in elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis. PRP has more advantages in medium and long-term efficacy, inflammation control, and functional recovery, with good safety, and is more suitable as the preferred option for elderly patients with degenerative knee osteoarthritis.
