随着生成式人工智能技术的发展以及应用型本科教育改革的推进,社会对大学生英语应用能力和综合素养提出了更高要求,应用型本科院校大学英语课程改革的重要性也进一步凸显。本文以青岛城市学院为例,通过问卷调查与数据分析,对应用型高校大学英语课程现状与学生需求进行了研究。在此基础上,结合OBE理念(Outcome-Based Education)、ESP教学理念(English for Specific Purposes, ESP)以及GAI技术(Generative Artificial Intelligence, 生成式人工智能),对应用型高校大学英语课程改革路径进行了探讨,希望能够为应用型高校大学英语课程改革提供一定参考。
Against the backdrop of continuous advancement in generative AI technology and deepening reform of applied undergraduate education, modern society has set stricter standards for students’ practical English proficiency and overall comprehensive quality. Accordingly, college English teaching reform in application-oriented universities has become increasingly urgent and necessary. This study selects Qingdao City University as the research object. By means of questionnaire investigation and statistical data analysis, it examines the existing problems of current college English teaching and the actual learning demands of students in application-oriented universities. Based on the above findings, the study integrates Outcome-Based Education, English for Specific Purposes as well as Generative Artificial Intelligence technology, and puts forward feasible optimization directions for college English curriculum innovation. It is expected that the research findings can offer practical inspiration and reference for English teaching reform in other application-oriented colleges.
