大学英语教学应主动融入学校课程思政教学体系,使之在高等学校落实立德树人根本任务中发挥重要作用。然而,课程思政要实现“知”与“行”的统一,仅靠第一课堂的知识传授远远不够,必须拓展第二课堂的实践育人功能。本文以潍坊科技学院《大学英语本科(四)》课程为例,系统阐述了“第一课堂+第二课堂”联动机制下的课程思政第二课堂构建路径。通过组织学生参与国际展会双语志愿服务、学科竞赛、地方文化外宣项目等实践活动,将语言能力训练与家国情怀、国际视野、职业素养等思政元素有机融合。实践表明,第二课堂显著提升了学生的跨文化传播能力、社会责任感与学习内驱力,形成了“以赛促学、以服促行、以项促创”的实践育人模式。
College English teaching should be effectively integrated into the system of curriculum-based ideological and political education, making it play a key role in achieving the basic mission of cultivating virtue and developing talent in higher education institutions. However, to fulfill the unity of “knowledge” and “action” in ideological and political education, depending just on knowledge transmission in the first classroom is not enough; it is necessary to expand the practical educational functions of the second classroom. Taking College English for Undergraduates at Weifang University of Science and Technology as an example, the study systematically explores the construction method of the second classroom under the linkage mechanism of the “First Classroom+Second Classroom”. By encouraging students to participate in practical activities such as bilingual volunteer services at international exhibitions, academic competitions, and local culture external publicity projects, language training is systematically integrated with ideological elements like patriotism, global vision, and professional ethics. It shows that the second classroom remarkably promotes students’ cross-cultural communication skills, sense of social responsibility, and internal learning drive, forming a practical education model characterized by “promoting learning through competitions, fostering action through service, and stimulating innovation through projects.”
