The impact of primary caregiver readiness on unplanned readmission rate in stroke patients
脑卒中患者主要照顾者准备度对非计划再入院率的影响

摘要

目的 探讨脑卒中患者主要照顾者准备度对于患者非计划性再入院的影响。方法 选取出院的患者及其家庭主要照顾者110例进行30d的随访。通过一般性调查问卷，收集患者疾病信息，使用照顾者准备度量表（caregiver preparedness scale, CPS）分析其准备度，调查患者30d非计划性再入院率。结果 110例患者30d非计划再入院患者13例（11.82%），非计划性再入院率脑卒中患者主要照顾者的CPS得分显著低于计划性再次入院患者（P＜0.05）。结论 使用CPS调查发现，家庭主要照顾者准备度越高，照顾能力越强，患者非计划再入院率越低。

Abstract

Objective To explore the impact of primary caregiver readiness on unplanned readmission in stroke patients.
Methods 110 discharged patients and their primary caregivers were selected for a 30 day follow-up. Collect patient disease information through a general survey questionnaire, analyze their preparedness using the Caregiver Preparedness Scale (CPS), and investigate the 30 day unplanned readmission rate of patients.
Results Among the 110 patients, 13 (11.82%) had unplanned readmission within 30 days. The CPS score of the primary caregiver for stroke patients with unplanned readmission was significantly lower than that of planned readmission patients (P<0.05).
Conclusion   Using CPS survey, it was found that the higher the preparedness and caregiving ability of the primary caregiver in the family, the lower the unplanned readmission rate of patients.
