Explore the application of Newman health care system model in the care of elderly hypertension
探究纽曼保健系统模式在老年高血压病护理中的应用

摘要

目的 浅析老年高血压患者采用纽曼保健系统模式进行指导，为患者健康生活提供建议。方法 选取2024年1月至2024年12月收治的老年高血压患者120例，对照组采用基础护理；观察组采用纽曼保健系统模式，对比护理效果。结果 观察组患者的血压指标优于对照组，对比差异显著（P＜0.05）；此外，观察组患者生活质量高于对照组，对比差异显著（P＜0.05）。结论 针对老年高血压患者实施纽曼保健系统模式不仅能够控制血压水平，使其相对稳定，还能够帮助患者积极应对生活，改善生活质量。

Abstract

Objective To analyze the elderly patients with hypertension by using the Newman health care system model to provide suggestions for the healthy life of patients.
Methods A total of 120 elderly hypertensive patients admitted from January to December 2024 were randomly assigned to a control group (receiving routine care) and an observation group (receiving the Newman Health System Model intervention). The nursing effects were compared between the two groups.
Results The blood pressure index of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P <0.05); moreover, the quality of life of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05).
Conclusion   The implementation of the Newman health care system model for elderly patients with hypertension can not only control the blood pressure level and make it relatively stable, but also help patients to actively cope with life and improve the quality of life.
