本研究从跨文化交际的视角出发，以迪士尼电影《疯狂动物城》英汉字幕翻译为研究对象，解读译者如何通过归化与异化的翻译策略，有效处理英汉语言之间的文化差异和语用障碍，将影片的内容与文化内涵准确表达出来，促进目标语观众的理解与共鸣。本文旨在揭示字幕翻译在跨文化传播中的桥梁作用，并为影视翻译实践提供参考和启示。

Abstract

This study investigates the E–C subtitling translation of Disney’s animation Zootopia from the perspective of intercultural communication. It explores how translators navigate cultural differences and pragmatic challenges between English and Chinese by strategically employing domestication and foreignization. The analysis demonstrates how these strategies enable the accurate conveyance of both narrative content and underlying cultural meanings, thereby fostering comprehension and emotional resonance among target-language viewers. By elucidating the mediating role of subtitling in intercultural communication, this research aims to contribute insights and guidance for audiovisual translation practice.
