本文从翻译目的论视角出发,对宁波美食在文心一言、DeepSeek和豆包三种智能翻译工具中的译文进行了比较分析。研究指出,宁波菜作为浙菜的重要组成部分,具有独特的“鲜咸合一”风味和精细的烹饪工艺,但其翻译研究尚未受到学界足够重视。通过比较分析,发现三种翻译工具在满足目的性、连贯性和忠实性原则上各有优劣。DeepSeek更注重补充完整信息,连贯性和忠实性表现较好;文心一言注重简洁性、逻辑性和可接受性,忠实性较高;豆包在简洁性上表现突出,但在处理复杂语境时可能稍显不足。研究强调,翻译策略应服务于翻译目的,宁波菜名翻译需兼顾文化传播的目的性和目标读者的需求,提出通过优化机器翻译策略,提升宁波菜名翻译的文化传播效果。
This paper conducts a comparative analysis of the translations of Ningbo cuisine generated by three intelligent translation tools—ERNIE Bot, DeepSeek, and Doubao—from the perspective of Skopos Theory. The study points out that Ningbo cuisine, as a significant component of Zhejiang cuisine, boasts a unique flavor characterized by the integration of "freshness and saltiness" and exquisite culinary techniques. However, its translation studies have not yet received sufficient attention from the academic community. Each of the three translation tools has its strengths and weaknesses in meeting the principles of skopos, coherence, and fidelity. DeepSeek places greater emphasis on supplementing complete information, demonstrating better performance in coherence and fidelity; ERNIE Bot focuses on conciseness, logicality, and acceptability, with relatively high fidelity; Doubao excels in conciseness but may fall slightly short when dealing with complex contexts. The study emphasizes that translation strategies should serve the purpose of translation. The translation of Ningbo dish names needs to balance the purpose of cultural dissemination with the needs of the target audience.
