天然产物来自不同的植物,被认为是生物活性化合物的潜在来源。这些生物活性化合物的药理和治疗特性仍然是研究的主题。芦荟是一种美容、药用和观赏植物,是一种生长在世界热带和亚热带地区的多年生肉质草本植物。它被认为是一种在药用史上具有巨大益处的神奇植物。它的药用特性使其在健康方面具有诸多价值。在本研究中,使用DPPH测定法研究了芦荟粉的甲醇和水提取物的植物化学筛选和体外抗氧化活性。本研究的结果表明,干物质为2.65%,含水量为97.35%。抗氧化活性测试结果显示,水提取物的抑制率(DPPH)为10.23-35.80,而甲醇提取物的抑制率在20-100 μg/ml浓度下为12.84-44.96,并与相同浓度的标准合成抗氧化剂BHT进行了比较。在100 μg/mL浓度下,水提取物的IC50(μg/ml)为175,甲醇提取物的IC50为134。初步植物化学分析表明,提取物含有酚类、黄酮类、生物碱、单宁、醌、糖苷、碳水化合物、皂苷、萜类、叶绿素和蛋白质。本研究表明,芦荟是一种很有前景的植物化学物质和天然抗氧化剂植物。
Natural products are obtained from different plants and are considered a potential source of biologically active compounds. The pharmacological and therapeutic properties of these bioactive compounds remain the subject of research. Aloe vera is a cosmetic, medicinal and ornamental plant and it is a perennial succulent herb that grows in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. It is considered as a magical plant which has vast benefits in medicinal history. Its medicinal properties make it worthy for so many health aspects. In this study, phytochemical screening and in-vitro antioxidant activity of methanol and water extracts of Aloe vera powder was investigated using the DPPH assay. The results of the present study indicated that the dry matter was 2.65% and the water content was 97.35%. The results of antioxidant activity revealed that water extracts exhibited % inhibition (DPPH) 10.23-35.80, while methanol extracts exhibited 12.84-44.96 at concentrations of 20-100 μg/ml and was compared with standard synthetic antioxidant BHT at same concentration. IC50 (μg/ml) for the water extract was 175, and 134 for the methanol extract at 100 μg/mL. Preliminary phytochemical analysis indicated that the extract contained phenols, flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, quinone, glycosides, carbohydrates, saponins, terpenoids, chlorophyll and proteins. The present study publicized that Aloe vera is a promising plant for phytochemicals and natural antioxidants.
