高校英语写作课程思政建设现存问题及成因分析

摘要

本文主要探讨了目前高校英语写作课程建设中存在的问题及主要成因。英语写作课程与英语语言和英语文化存在极为密切的关系,因此开展课程思政建设尤为迫切且重要。当前的种种实践结果表明,英语写作课程与课程思政相融合的过程存在一些较难解决的问题。一方面,英语写作课程教学模式在一定程度上限制了课程思政的效果;另一方面,思政教学还缺乏系统的过程性评价,无法完全体现思政教育效果;同时,写作课程与课程思政在教学目标上还存在一定的差异性。这些问题使得两者结合遇到一定的阻力,既不能辅助专业教学,也不能展现思政教育。究其原因,主要在于教师缺乏一定的思政教学能力,教学缺少合适的思政素材,且执行缺乏完善的机制支持。本文中的发现将为高校英语写作课程的课程思政建设途径探索提供一定的借鉴。

Abstract

This paper explores the problems and the corresponding causes in the integration of English writing causes and curriculum ideology and politics in colleges and universities. English writing courses have close connections with English language and cultures, so the integration of curriculum ideology and politics with such courses are especially urgent and important. However, various practices have shown that problems that are relatively hard to solve exist in the process of the integration. On one hand, the teaching mode of English writing, to some extent, limits the effectiveness of ideological and political education. On the other hand, a systematic process evaluation is unavailable concerning the teaching of ideology and politics. Meanwhile, English writing courses and ideology and politics teaching also show differences in their objectives. Theses problems bring about obstacles to the integration, which is neither favorable to teaching activities, nor ideal to ideological and political education. The main causes lie in the lacks of teachers’ ability to teach ideology and politics, appropriate ideological and political elements and the support of well-developed mechanism. These findings would provide some reference for the successful integration of English writing courses and curriculum ideology and politics.
