The training goal of application-oriented undergraduate colleges and universities is to provide high-quality skilled talents, serve the local economy, and meet the needs of market talents. With the development of Internet technology, cross-border e-commerce has become a new engine for the growth of foreign trade. If international trade majors in applied undergraduate colleges and universities want to survive and develop, they must cultivate new foreign trade talents suitable for the development of cross-border e-commerce. In recent years, students majoring in international trade have faced difficulties in finding employment. The main reasons are that the training of talents does not meet the development needs of cross-border e-commerce, the teaching content is out of touch with the needs of cross-border e-commerce, weak teachers, and lack of practical teaching resources. Therefore, actively promoting the reform of the talent training model for international trade majors, especially the reform of practical teaching has become an urgent problem to be solved for applied undergraduates.
